![]() ![]() Let me know if you have questions and I'll try to help within reason. ![]() Just hoping to share what I did as a work around so I could get back to work. I'm not claiming to have a solution here. But I found that removing these files and leaving just the files made it so those folders would now sync. My suspicion has to do with multiple failed syncs where there is confusion about the presence of the same file locally and remotely. Not ideal, but I've found it actually usually works.Īnother issue I discovered I think due to failed syncs is files in folders with a "._." that were duplicates of existing files. My current approach is to sync files locally on an as-needed basis. But I found that actually worked as opposed to trying to sync everything all at once. So my first piece of advice is to only sync one folder first and get that working before trying to sync more files. When this invariably failed, I wouldn't even know what folders/files were successfully synced so I'd need to start over. ![]() My first approach was to try and sync my entire google drive folder to my external hard drive. I recently swapped from using my iMac pro local ssd drive to an external hardrive. Its Backup & Sync service enable users to upload and store files from any folder on the computer, camera and SD card in the cloud. I'm a music producer with over 1tb of files I use Backup & Sync with. In general, Google Drive is an effective tool to back up and sync files across your device with its multiple features.
